Dr. David C. Baldridge is a deafened, bilateral cochlear implant user who has had hearing loss since early childhood. As a professor at Oregon State University, NTID research associate and Rochester Institute for Technology, he has studied the workplace experiences of people with hearing loss. David has accumulated nearly 20 years of research experience in this domain. He presented this body of work around the world including presentations in Canada, China, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland, Taiwan and the United States. David’s research has been published in Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of International Business Studies, Human Resource Management Review, Journal of Business Communication and other leading management publications. His work on hearing loss has also been published by Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) Press and the Oxford University Press.
