Members of the Hearing Aid Tax Credit Coalition present a plaque to U.S. Representative Allyson Schwartz

Jul 15 2009

Hearing Loss Association director of public policy and state development Lise Hamlin and others from the Hearing Aid Tax Credit Coalition presented a plaque to U.S. Representative Allyson Schwartz commemorating her support for hearing aid tax credit legislation. The plaque includes pictures from the tax credit event held in Rep Schwartz’ district in Pennsylvania on March 28, 2009. A record crowd of 180 people attended that event. Several people gave testimonies about why hearing aids are so critical to their daily lives and Rep Schwartz’ remarks to the crowd emphasized the need for more attention to hearing health care.
