Apr 2 2010

Hearing Loss Association of America director of public policy Lise Hamlin and others from the Hearing Aid Tax Credit Coalition presented a plaque to U.S. Representative Ron Kind commemorating his support for the hearing aid tax credit legislation. The plaque includes pictures from the tax credit event held in Representative Kind’s district in Wisconsin on August 28, 2009. 120 people attended the event that featured people with hearing loss, parents and children who have benefited from hearing aids and are convinced a tax credit will be beneficial to many hearing aid users. Representative Kind supports issue that impact people with hearing loss, including the tax credit, but also legislation that would provide more training of CART writers. He was a great supporter of efforts to exclude hearing aids from the newly implemented tax on almost all other medical devices.
