Brian M. Meyer, Public Policy Associate

Brian M. Meyer joined HLAA in January 2022 as public policy associate providing advocacy on issues before federal agencies including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). He comes to HLAA with more than 30 years’ experience working with Washington-based professional and trade associations and as an independent consultant providing public policy analysis, strategy development and advocacy training for health organizations.
In addition to interacting with Members of Congress and staff, Brian directed advocacy before a host of federal agencies including the FDA and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in Politics from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore.
In his spare time, Brian enjoys hiking and traveling to national parks and international locations.
