FCC Announces Enhanced Electronic Newsroom Captioning Technique Forum on May 10, 2019
The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) will host a forum regarding the use of enhanced Electronic Newsroom Technique (ENT) captioning procedures for local news programming. The forum will take place on May 10, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Eastern Time, in the Commission Meeting Room at the FCC’s headquarters located at 445 12th Street, SW, in Washington, DC. The event will be open to the public and will also be webcast with open captioning at http://www.fcc.gov/live.
HLAA Director of Public Policy Lise Hamlin is on the panel.
