Internships are a great way for college students to gain real-world experience while contributing to the mission of HLAA. We have two openings for internships:

  • Communication intern works with all departments to support HLAA exposure in all media.
  • Public Policy intern works with the director of public policy and will focus on state legislation.

These are not paid internships; however, depending on the university, these could be for college credit. Being on site at the HLAA office in Bethesda, Maryland, is required some of the time. Parking is reimbursed.

Deadline for summer internships is May 15, 2019. Send letters of inquiry to jobs@hearingloss.org with “Internship-Communications” or “Internship-Public Policy” in the subject line. Please include your resume and a brief statement about why you would like the internship with HLAA.
