On March 3, HLAA joins with the World Health Organization (WHO) to celebrate World Hearing Day. We join with all hearing health stakeholders globally to bring attention to the importance of hearing well for life. (Fun fact: HLAA is a member of the World Hearing Forum).

This year’s World Hearing Day theme is “To hear for life, listen with care!” Listening to sounds and music at high, damaging levels can lead to noise-induced hearing loss, which is completely preventable, but is sadly irreversible.

We hope you will join us in celebrating World Hearing Day!

At all life stages, communication and good hearing health connect us to each other, our communities, and the world. Don’t let hearing loss limit you — early intervention can ensure that people with hearing loss are able to achieve their full potential. Learn more at HearWellStayVital.org.
