Prioritizing Transparency
HLAA is committed to transparency and accountability in every aspect of our organization. We are proud of the diverse support we receive and report regularly on the sources of our funding.
HLAA accepts gifts, grants and sponsorships from individuals, organizations and foundations to fund our mission, including our general operations and specific initiatives. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we annually file IRS form 990 and keep our information current with organizations that rate the effectiveness and health of charities, such as Candid and Charity Navigator.
Our annual report provides information on donations received, programs and impact, along with basic financials. We publicly share recent annual reports, financial statements, 990 forms and HLAA Board of Directors’ names and roles on our website.
