Support the Medicare Hearing Aid Coverage Act, H.R. 500

Medicare, a federal health insurance program for people age 65 or older, does not currently cover the costs of hearing aids, making them inaccessible to many seniors. The Medicare Hearing Aid Coverage Act (H.R. 500), would remove Medicare’s exclusion of hearing aids and exams from coverage and, if passed, begin coverage on January 1, 2026, for eligible beneficiaries.
