Preserve Medicaid Hearing Health Benefits in Your State

Recently, the U.S. Congress passed, and President Trump signed into law, a budget reconciliation bill that cuts federal Medicaid funding by hundreds of billions of dollars.

Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that helps cover medical costs for 78.4 million Americans with limited income and resources. The federal government has general rules that all state Medicaid programs must follow, but each state runs its own program, so eligibility requirements and benefits vary.

Most states offer some hearing health benefits under Medicaid, which are at risk of being cut.
