No One-Size-Fits-All: Real-World Tips & Tools for Navigating Hearing Loss

Whether it’s at a family gathering, a doctor’s appointment, or a live event, navigating daily life with hearing loss can be challenging—but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. In this session, we’ll share practical, real-world strategies to plan ahead and be ready for common scenarios, from social events to medical visits. Along the way, we’ll highlight a variety of assistive listening devices and systems that can help, while showing how small acts of advocacy can make a big difference. Together, we’ll explore flexible solutions—because hearing well is about finding the approach that works best for you.

Date/Time: Monthly Every 3rd Tuesday, 8 – 9 p.m. ET
The mission of the HLAA Veterans Across America Virtual Chapter is to provide education, be an advocate for veterans with hearing loss, and to provide a support system to help them to return and adjust to civilian life.
